Client Profile

An irrigation-industry pioneer, our client uses satellite monitoring, high-resolution aerial infrared imagery, neutron probes, and other advanced technologies to provide its customers with accurate and real-time water, crop, and irrigation data.

Over a six-year partnership, ESN developed several applications for the client and enhanced and re-engineered others. Together we improved enterprise operations and customer service, all while expanding the client’s customer base.

 

Project Needs

Results

ESN analyzed the client’s needs with the objective of optimizing the overall system, not just modernizing an application. This approach addressed both application and infrastructure-portfolio management needs. We recommended a cloud-computing strategy, developed a road map, and built a business plan to address the client’s needs and concerns.

With the client’s consent, we then re-factored, revised, and rebuilt the client’s entire cloud-hosting suite of applications. Doing so provided us with ample opportunities to make improvements within each of the client’s applications.

By modernizing and centralizing its computing power in the cloud, the client:
