ESN is working closely with a leading semiconductor company to develop add-on software for use with an Optical Wireless LAN that uses "Line of Sight" optics to transmit data between workstations, hubs and servers. ESN is creating an SNMP agent for this LAN. This agent allows any compatible network management software to manage the Optical Network. The SNMP Agent will run on a TALP2010 optical device used in this LAN. Any optical device that meets the specifications of TALP2010 can be managed using this SNMP Agent.
